Efficient Chapters: Goals Future Planning
In our efforts to make more efficient chapters, we have discussed creating strong executive board, implementing Robert’s Rules of Order as well as having weekly meeting for your e-board and chapter at large. We are going to finish off the series by making you think long term and doing some future planning for your chapter.
It is certain that no one is perfect. This of course also applies to fraternities and sororities. Even the largest and/or most reputable chapter always have something to improve upon. It is important to not get complacent, and always find the areas you are doing well on and assessing if there is a way to further improve or stream line it. The same is true for the importance of recognizing those areas where you are falling short
Once you’ve taken an in depth look at what you need to improve. It is time to start thinking of how you want to make it happen. Make long term goals about how you want to make those improvements. Think of what changes need to happen and what events, and things need to be added to your chapter. Then make goals for the chapter for the next year, and then set a 4 year goal list.
